This trek in the Toubkal massif is a clever mix of high valleys and high altitude plateaus open to grandiose landscapes, between peaks and arid plateaus; wealth and green valleys with fields irrigated by rivers.

Day 1: Marrakech – Imi Oughlade – Tiziane.
Meeting at your hotel, transfer in the morning to Imi Oughlade (1400m), via Tahanaout, about 1h15 drive, meeting with our mule team and we cross the Col de Tacht (2000m) crossing a holm oak forest, a small descent towards the valley of Azzaden, night in lodging.
5 hours.
Day 2: Tizian – Teknte.
Cross a beautiful forest, land well varied red, green, gray, passing near the Tekent sheepfolds at 2250m, then descent to the valley of tkent. Night in a cottage.
6 hours of walking.
Day 3: Tekent – Tizi Oussem.
We go up the valley to the pass, after a long descent to the village of Tizi Oussem (1890m). Night in a cottage, the possibility of a Hammam on site.
6h30 walk.
Day 4: Tizi Oussem – Imlil .
Ascent to the Mezek pass (2500m), beautiful view of the Imlil valley, stop after the pass for lunch, descent to the village of Imlil, Night in a Riad.
4 hours of walking.
Day 5: Imlil – Armed-Marabout de Chamharouche – return to Imlil
We follow the canals that irrigate the terraced crops between the superb villages clinging to the slopes of this northern slope of the Toubkal massif, then by a mule track to arrive at the small village and marabout of Sidi Chamarouch at 2290 meters above sea level. Beyond, in the direction of Toubkal, then we return to Imlil, after lunch, end of our hike, we leave the muleteers and find the vehicle. Return to Marrakesh.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Portage: For walkers a small backpack for the day’s belongings. Mules are available for carrying luggage.
- Supervision: By a Multilanguages speaking Moroccan mountain guide assisted by a cook and muleteers.
- Accommodation: Riad Atlas Imlil, Bivouac in a 2-person tent with mattresses, lodgings during the hike, or at the mountain hut in the winters.
- Meals: typical Moroccan dishes (tagine, couscous, …). Fresh products and complementary preserves, meat bought in the mountains. Picnic or salads at noon, hot and cooked meal in the evening.
- Climate: dry and hot in spring, cold at night in winter. Thunderstorm possible
- Supervision: Berber guide speaking French and English, cook, mule drivers.
List of equipment to bring back: The weight of your luggage must be limited and contain all of your belongings. A flexible travel bag with side openings or a rucksack without frame, do not bring back rigid bags and suitcases.
